We will be focusing our energy on several Minneapolis bikeways policy projects in 2017.

With 2016 being a successful year with bikeways, 3rd Ave S Downtown, Blaisdell Ave S, 11th Ave S Downtown, Franklin Ave S, and many more-- there are still many more potential bikeways to happen in 2017! In November, we did a series of public surveys, public meetings, and a volunteer focus group to determine our priorities for 2017. Here's what we decided for Bikeways for Everyone Bikeways projects.

A number of new protected bikeways are planned to be built in 2016, including some that have been in the works for a few years now!

Conceptual engagement is underway for a North Minneapolis Greenway that connects parks, schools and neighborhoods. 

We're making a lot of progress in 2015, but there's still a lot of work to be done to ensure that we meet our goal of 30 new miles of bikeways by the end of 2020.
